Intersectionality training courses & providers

Intersectionality is an analytical framework for understanding how different aspects of a person's social and political identities—such as gender, race, class, sexuality, ability, and age—intersect and overlap, creating complex systems of discrimination and privilege. Rooted in critical race theory and feminist thought, intersectionality helps to illuminate the multifaceted nature of social inequalities and the interconnected nature of various forms of oppression. People who study this subject will learn about the historical development of the concept, its application in various social justice fields, and the ways in which intersecting identities impact individuals' experiences and access to resources and opportunities.
